Larry Warren Strong - Ends 10/28/26

A little update on Larry: He had another MRI on October 6th that showed growth, but we’re still unsure exactly what it is—progression of his previous tumor, a higher-grade tumor, post-radiation changes, or metastatic disease from another type of cancer.

The plan is to do a specialty MRI, CT scans of his chest and abdomen, and meet with the neurosurgeon again to reconsider a biopsy. With the growth, there may now be enough tissue to get a sample and give us clearer answers. We’re still concerned about the risk of weakness or other deficits that was discussed before, and we’re hoping to hear that those risks are lower now.

His radiation oncologist explained that if they’re able to safely remove some of the tumor during surgery, that could also be part of treatment. Whether that’s possible is something we’ll discuss with the surgeon. They’re also starting prior authorization for radiation in case it’s needed.

There are still a lot of unanswered questions right now. We’re just praying for answers so we can move forward with the right treatment. Please continue to pray for Larry, wisdom for his doctors, and peace for us as we navigate all of this.
