After nearly five years of stable scans and getting to live life with cancer no longer at the center of everything, Larry and his family recently received the heartbreaking news they had prayed they would never hear again: Larry’s brain cancer is back.
Larry fought brain cancer once before, and now he, his wife Savannah, and their two-year-old son, Bear, are preparing to face this battle together. While there are still many unknowns, the road ahead includes treatment at Emory in Atlanta, including another brain surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy.
During this time, Savannah will have to be away from work so she can be by Larry’s side while they also care for their little boy. The proceeds from these shirts will go directly to Larry and Savannah to help ease the financial burden that comes with treatment—including housing while they are in Atlanta, meals, travel expenses, household bills, and the everyday needs of their family.
Our hope is that by coming together, we can take even a small piece of the financial worry off their shoulders so they can focus their energy where it belongs: on Larry’s treatment, their family, and the fight ahead.
Larry is a fighter. He has fought this battle before, and he will not fight it alone this time either. Please continue to pray for Larry, Savannah, Bear, his doctors, and everyone who loves them as they take this journey one appointment, one decision, and one day at a time.
